In the BENDOWA, there is a beautiful phrase that I love,"Enhance the dharma joy in the original state as the Buddha and renew the sublime dignity of the enlightened path. To enhance the Dharma-joy in the original state as the Buddha means we are truly being saved to the depths of our being. When we touch such things like this, we can feel that we are living in such a rich life. Increase the Dharma enjoyment. It increases the joy of the Dharma. It's not that you can experience it elsewhere, but you can experience it in your present state.
And to renew the sublime dignity of the path of enlightenment does not mean that there is a need for what I noticed last time, but that I am really in the midst of such enlightenment now. That's the way it is now, the first thing. When you come in contact with something new and fresh, the appearance becomes clear. If this were in a store, everyone would be jumping at the chance to buy something fresh.

We have a tendency to start with the items that have a date on them and are placed in the back. I think the ones in the front don't last as long as the ones in the back.

There is an expression like that, but it is really interesting in this way.
